This year, the College celebrates 144 years of Bursaries.
Since 1880, Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview has provided the gift of a Jesuit education to students whose families would not otherwise be able to afford it.
Our cherished Bursary Program, which has offered transformative experiences to hundreds of students, is made possible only thanks to the generosity of our benefactors and their continued belief in our mission.
Please enjoy our video, featuring Bursary graduate Joseph Althouse (OR2015). Joseph reflects upon his time at the College, describing the ways in which the Bursary Program transformed his life and impacted his community. After graduating from the College, Joseph studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and has appeared in numerous stage productions around Australia as well as on our television screens.
We warmly invite you to join our mission of forming young men for and with others – like Joseph – by supporting the Bursary Program. Any donation, large or small, is always gratefully received and your gift will empower Bursary students to flourish at the College – and beyond. Please click below to make your donation.
