This year, the College celebrates 145 years of Bursaries.

We warmly invite you to share the gift of hope by partnering with us to form young men who seek to make a difference in the world. To support the Bursary Program, please visit the College’s Bursary giving page HERE or click on the donate button below. The impact of every gift is lasting.

Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview has given the transformative gift of a Jesuit education to nearly 500 students since 2004 whose families would not otherwise have been able to afford it.

Our cherished Bursary Program is entirely funded through the generosity of our benefactors. Now celebrating its 145th year, the Bursary Program represents a partnership between our benefactors, the College, and the Bursary students. It built on a foundation of generosity and heartfelt gratitude.

In this year’s Bursary Appeal video, Jack Griffiths (OR2015) who attended the College as a Bursary student, shares how his time at the College instilled in him the sincere hope of becoming an engineer. A boarder from Griffith, Jack was supported through initial homesickness by his fellow boarders as well as the pastoral care provided by Southwell House. Today, Jack is a traffic and transport engineer at a local council. He fondly recalls countless tennis games on the College courts and happy hours spent revising in the Christopher Brennan Library. We hope you will enjoy hearing Jack’s story and how the Bursary Program shaped his life by watching this new video.
